Mr. Miller, I rarely chime in to the forums but can't resist. That was my first Dead show. Pigpen and Garcia sat in the row in front of us to watch the Allman Brothers. Throw in Love and the light show and it was an auspicious start to my Dead days. Thank you.

Thanks for your confession, Jeff. Isn't it interesting that many of us here are saying our GD experiences were The Best experiences?

So Jeff, how about you and The Archive getting on the "Transition Colorado" bus, Februray 25-27, 2011, in Boulder, Colorado? Why not relocate The Archive's home base to Fort Collins? Why not expand The Archive into Fort Collins? Join the Transition Fort Collins movement, of which I am a part. Our town is home to Colorado State University. CSU is growing. We are expanding our Public library system. Lincoln Center Events Center is undergoing a major renovation and expansion. We also have a new Fort Collins Museum & Discovery Science Center under construction. Sure, I'd like to get a part-time gig somewhere in the middle of all this, doing some side-work to help this all come together. Interested?

No matter what I do, my life will never be as complete as yours. I'd trade every show that I saw to see that one.
